This place is a "hole in a wall" with unbelievable food! Our friends went there multiple times and finally decided to take us which was awesome. The seafood pasta was creamy and so full of flavor. We are going back to try the eggplant Parm
Gino's is a delightful combination of a great neighborhood spot and one of the best Italian restaurants in the city. Top notch Italian food or go more casual (pizza, burgers rings, etc) all in a really cool small Italian restaurant ambiance. For us standouts on the menu are the sausage sauteed in lemon juice/white wine/butter, the Marsala dishes and anything covered in their gorgonzola sauce (sometimes can be a little strong so be sure you like that cheese). The tiramisu we have been told is made on site and it's fantastic. Tonight Amy was our server and she was just the best. Highly recommended.
Hole in the wall local Italian with amazing flavor for a great price. The portion sizes were big, and the food came out hot. I tried the sampler of lasagna, alfredo, and chicken parmigian. My fiancee had the rigatoni (and the cannoli, not pictured). Everything was delicious. 10/10 recommend Gino's. Certain days of the week have drink specials, so pay attention.
We found this place while out shopping in North Tampa... it came highly recommended by 6 different people where we were shopping. The portions are HUGE. Be hungry. The garlic bread they bring while you are waiting sets the tone for all of the yumminess to follow. Tons of choices in the bar too... you will not be disappointed... The service is quick and extremely welcoming!!
This place is a hidden gem. It looks very small on the outside but it’s huge inside! First time here and the food was PERFECT. Like everything was cooked great just how we asked and it tasted amazing! Everything tasted fresh and really well made. THE BREAD at the beginning is out of this world, baked to perfection. Big portions for the food, even the sides! Fairly priced, which is great for Italian food. Great service,everyone is friendly and attentive. We got a bit of everything to try the entrees and they were ALL amazing. We got the Mama Mary’s meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes,Cesar salad, grilled chicken salad,fried ravioli bites,chicken/steak fettuccine,pizza and spaghetti!! Best italian restaurant in Tampa!!

I must say, the food at GINO’s Restaurant & Bar exceeded all expectations. It was a true 10/10 experience, and we were pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the Italian cuisine. We took advantage of the Tuesday wine special, with glasses priced at 5 each. Additionally, we ordered a kids’ pasta, which was surprisingly generous in size. All the main courses we tried were equally impressive, and the option to add a Caesar salad for an extra 5 or the soup of the day for 4 was a nice touch. We sampled the lasagna, pasta zitti, and jumbo ravioli, all of which came with delicious bread on the side. The portions were so generous that we couldn’t finish everything on our plates. Considering the quantity and quality of the food, as well as the inclusion of a glass of wine, the price per person was incredibly reasonable, coming in at under 25. This is exceptional value for money, especially for authentic Italian cuisine. Overall, GINO’s Restaurant & Bar is a place we will definitely be returning to. It truly transported us to Italy with its authentic flavors and generous portions. If you’re in the area, this is a must-try dining destination.
Food was excellent. No dress code. Great for dinner after Busch Gardens. Kid approved. Our kid is pretty picky
Get the Italian wedding soup. The fried calamari is great & I had the seafood fra'diavlo. Their house bread is more addictive than the biscuits at Red Lobster & taste 100x better. The waitresses that I've dealt with have the best attitudes & are super sweet, so tip them well. I've never had the pizza, but I bet it's good because their marinara sauce is great. So go there and treat yourself to a nice meal or bring the family & splurge on a good time with food & drinks. Great place. I'm a native of Long Island New York & this place can hang with the flavors & ambiance.
